Take a different approach to Corporate Team Building and CSR activities
At Buchan Community Farm we also offer corporate team building sessions for groups of up to 12 people in a unique and relaxing countryside environment.

By bringing your team to BCF you will not only enjoy purposeful team-building activities, but you are also helping to support the people who use our not-for-profit organisation.
​
What can we do?
We offer a wide range of activities, these are split into two groups but can be mixed to create a challenging and varied day.
All activities will be supported by an experienced instructor/facilitator and we can provide an end of day debrief and feedback.
Work Projects
We have ongoing developments around the farm. Depending on the time of year, these include:

Tree and seed planting

Landscaping, path laying and Gardening
Games, Challenges and Confidence Building
Animal Husbandry – an opportunity to learn about and engage with our animals. One to one confidence-building sessions are also available.

Leading ponies on an obstacle course (timed or leisurely)

Horse grooming, Alpaca leading, Goat walks!
Woodwork challenge – use partly prepared recycled materials and explore your creativity to build and paint benches, bird boxes, planters, etc. Take them with you or leave them for us to sell to raise funds for BCF.
“Sheep Herding’ – No, not real sheep! (although we have some). This is a challenge in leading and teamwork and avoiding horse poo!
Farm Trail – team navigation and clue solving a challenge that will take your round the farm and test your skills, knowledge and lateral thinking. Safety

All activities are thoroughly risk-assessed and we are happy to share these with you ahead of the day. We will also send you guidance on recommended clothing, things to consider and advise us of, etc. On the day, we will provide safety briefings for all activities and general movement around the farm and animals.
Costs and Booking
Please talk to us so we can create a package that suits your team. Our normal day is from 9.30 till 16.00 and costs a very competitive £85 per day per person including morning and afternoon tea/ coffee and a soup and sandwich lunch.
